Vibrant Diversity

You can't get much more diversely vibrant than this story from the Washington Post:

Two more suspects were arrested Friday in the beating death of a District pizzeria owner whose slaying was linked to an immigration scam, police said.

The victim, Shahabuddin Rana, 44, who was found dead Aug. 18 inside his Pizza Mart in Northeast Washington, had agreed to pay a woman $500 a week to marry his brother, a Pakistani national, then reneged on the deal after the wedding, police said.

Police identified the suspects as Leon Robinson, 25, of Northeast Washington, and Isaiah Genus, 26, of Southeast Washington. Both were charged with first-degree murder. The alleged wife-for-hire, Shanika Robinson, 26, of Capitol Heights, was charged with first-degree murder last month.

The three are accused of killing Rana inside his pizzeria, in the 2300 block of Fourth Street NE, after he refused to continue paying Robinson to stay in the sham marriage, which police said was intended to help Rana's brother get a green card.

In a court affidavit, police said Rana became upset when he learned that Robinson "was having sexual affairs" with other men. The affidavit says that Rana informed Robinson that she would not be getting paid anymore.

Police allege that after beating Rana, the three set his body on fire and stole cigarettes, cigars and about $2,000 in cash from the pizzeria ...

Congrats. You beat Lawrence Auster to this story. He must be seething.

He should have hired an Asian woman. They actually respect that kind of deal.

You know, along those lines, I had been strugglng to understand why Asian women are more likely to engage in prostitution than white women. It seems to violate Rushton's rule as Asians are more socially conservative in other respects.

The key insight is to realize that Asian women want value for their sexual dollar. Either that value is commitment or it is money. But they are not going to give it away for free.

White women in the US speak English, have US citizenship, and generally have a high school diploma. A white woman in the US has MANY options that are preferable to going on the game. An Asian woman with any one those advantages would NEVER be a sex worker.

Clearly another reason for amnesty. Media stories are not accidental.

rushton's idea about "3 groups on an axis" is wildly wrong. there's a mountain of evidence against that idea. the biggest problem, of course, is that there are more than 3 groups, and some of them don't fit correctly on the axis.

Jody, can you be more specific? I think his application of the r/K spectrum to human races is mostly right. You're bound to have outlier groups here and there. It's more like a trend than like a law of physics.

I guess the Latin American situation, where the descendants of Spaniards tend to be smarter, but the Amerindians tend to be quieter and more hardworking goes against what you'd expect if you take the r/K thing all the way. But I think that's an exception.
